Eutopia Search is exclusively partnering with a retail business within Luton, Bedfordshire to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a hybrid role, with two days a week in the office.

In the position of Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance, planning, and decision-making across various stakeholders. Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll deliver insight, ensure strong financial governance, and support value creation.

This is a highly visible, business-facing role that suits someone who thrives in a fast-moving, collaborative environment, with the confidence to analyse, challenge, and influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Act as a finance business partner to senior commercial stakeholders, supporting performance improvement and informed decision-making.
• Lead reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, turning complex data into clear insights.
• Provide constructive challenge and drive accountability for financial outcomes.
• Identify risks and opportunities early and work with cross-functional teams to address them.
• Ensure robust financial governance across investment and capital.
• Champion continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems, and reporting.
• Support and coach team members, helping to build commercial and financial capability across the business.

Experience & Skills

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with proven commercial business partnering experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insight.
• Commercially aware and strategically minded, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Salary and Benefits

Competitive base salary (£70,000–£80,000), with up to 20% annual bonus potential and a full suite of benefits.
