Eutopia Search is exclusively partnering with a retail business within St Albans, Bedfordshire, to appoint a Commercial Finance Manager. This is a hybrid role, with two days a week in the office.

In the position of Commercial Finance Manager, you’ll play a key role in driving financial performance, planning, and decision‑making across various stakeholders. Reporting into the Senior Finance Manager, you’ll deliver insight, ensure strong financial governance, and support value creation.

This is a highly visible, business‑facing role that suits someone who thrives in a fast‑moving, collaborative environment, with the confidence to analyse, challenge, and influence decisions.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a finance business partner to senior commercial stakeholders, supporting performance improvement and informed decision‑making.
• Lead reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis, turning complex data into clear insights.
• Provide constructive challenge and drive accountability for financial outcomes.
• Identify risks and opportunities early and work with cross‑functional teams to address them.
• Ensure robust financial governance across investment and capital.
• Champion continuous improvement across FP&A processes, systems, and reporting.
• Support and coach team members, helping to build commercial and financial capability across the business.

Experience & Skills

• Qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with proven commercial business partnering experience
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex financial data into actionable insight.
• Commercially aware and strategically minded, with experience influencing senior stakeholders.
• Proactive, resilient, and comfortable working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment.

Competitive base salary (£70,000–£76,000), with up to 20% annual bonus potential and a full suite of benefits.
