Location: Birmingham (Hybrid - 1 day WFH per week)
Hours: 9:00am - 5:30pm, Monday to Friday
Salary: £23,810 - £25,000 per annum
Start Date: Immediate
Monarch Education, part of Affinity Workforce Solutions, are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Compliance Officer to join their team in Birmingham. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in ensuring that our safeguarding, vetting, and compliance processes meet the highest standards while supporting our mission to provide safe, reliable education staffing solutions.
What you'll do:
- Carry out candidate compliance checks in line with safeguarding guidelines
- Process and monitor pre-employment checks including DBS, references, and right-to-work documentation
- Maintain accurate records and update internal systems to ensure compliance audits are passed successfully
- Liaise with candidates and colleagues to ensure smooth onboarding and a positive experience
- Provide ongoing support and advice to consultants on compliance best practices
What we're looking for:
- Previous experience in compliance, administration, or a similar role
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
- Ability to work to deadlines and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
