Overview

We are looking for a 3-8 PQE Associate / Senior Associate to join our thriving Construction practice. The team are based across our offices in Cardiff, Southampton and Oxford, with consideration for applicants from Reading or London. The team works on both contentious and non-contentious matters and aims to develop a wide skill set. Ideally, candidates will be very familiar with JCT and NEC contracts from a construction and property development perspective and will have the opportunity to develop project experience across large infrastructure, rail and green energy projects.

We support hybrid working, typically with 2-3 days in the office per week according to business needs.

Skills / Experience Required

• 3-8 PQE
• Confident and personable
• Very familiar with JCT and NEC
• Keen to develop cross-team project experience
• Strong technical competence and intellectual ability
• Good communication skills (verbal and written)
• Team player with leadership potential
• Experience at a leading national, regional or City law firm; in-house experience at a major contractor, consultant or public body also valued
