Construction Procurement Manager

You will be working as a Construction Procurement Manager with an RP in Essex. You will be joining the Housing Operations team to help get this RP's supply chain in place and support on a wider construction programme valued up to £50m for this FY. This role requires a 'hands on' operational approach to the role rather than a strategic lead. Salary: £500 per day (Inside IR35). Contract: 12-Month Contract. Status: Temporary, Full-time. Location: Based in Essex 3-4 days per week.

Responsibilities

• Embed in the property team while working closely with the central procurement function.
• Manage the production of tender documents and oversee the tender process.
• Write approval reports.
• Work on multiple procurement projects, from low value to large scale, released via open tender.
• Collaborate with the Head of Pre-Construction and the Head of Delivery to formulate the pipeline programme and devise an appropriate contract strategy and route to market.
• Take projects through the procurement process and into contract.
