Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor – Birmingham / Nottingham - (1 day per week in the office)

Salary: £65,000–£85,000

A leading law firm is seeking a Non-Contentious Construction Solicitor to join their Midlands team, working closely with public sector clients such as the NHS, schools, local councils, and education establishments including academy trusts and higher education institutions.

This is an excellent opportunity to work on a wide range of construction matters, with support and guidance from a leading partner in the industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acting on construction work for public sector and education clients
  • Advising on all standard industry forms of construction contract, bespoke contracts, collateral warranties, appointments, novation agreements, performance bonds, parent company guarantees, and letters of intent
  • Working across JCT and NEC contracts
  • Providing high-quality, practical legal advice to clients in a collaborative team environment

Team Environment

You will join the Midlands team of 9 specialists, offering strong support, guidance, and collaboration to help you grow and develop your expertise.

Requirements

  • Qualified solicitor with experience in non-contentious construction law
  • Experience working with public sector clients
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts, including JCT and NEC
  • Excellent communication and advisory skills
