About the Role

Ready to lead impactful health economic projects and shape strategic client solutions?

Consultant Health Economists at Costello Medical play a crucial role as project managers. You will provide strategic advice to clients from model conceptualisation through to building of the model and interpretation of the results. You will manage a range of projects simultaneously and have full responsibility for client communication on your projects, as well as lead budgeting plans and business development efforts.

Our Health Economics team deliver modelling projects to a broad range of pharmaceutical and medical device companies, as well as public sector and non-profit clients. You will be expected to work across different accounts spanning multiple disease areas, and should therefore be able to familiarise yourself with new areas quickly. You will support with recruiting, training, and line managing Health Economists, reviewing their work, and providing constructive feedback.

You will also drive global growth for the Health Economics team by actively contributing to business development, building long-term client relationships, identifying and pitching to prospective clients, as well as spotting opportunities to expand our service offerings. By staying ahead of emerging trends in health economics, you will enhance the team’s capabilities and shape future projects.

Hybrid Working Policy: We believe that having face-to-face time in the office holds many benefits and is central to ensuring that the community we have created, where people have a workplace they belong to and feel part of, is never lost. At the same time, we recognise that homeworking can improve work life balance, reduce commuting times and costs, and provide the opportunity to juggle personal commitments. Therefore, we offer flexible working arrangements that allow colleagues who have passed probation to work from home up to half their time, measured across a 2-week rolling period. During your probationary period (normally the first 6 months of the role), you will be able to work from home 1 day per week.
