Position Overview:

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Contracts Manager to join a growing legal function in a business that truly values balance, autonomy, and expertise.

In this role, you’ll support commercial teams across different business areas - drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts with confidence and care. The Role Includes:

• Drafting and reviewing a variety of commercial contracts, including software licences, cloud-hosted services, consultancy agreements, and VAS
• Negotiating terms to find fair, practical outcomes
• Partnering with Account Managers to gather the details needed to shape well-structured, watertight agreements
• Helping commercial colleagues understand how to approach and frame contractual conversations
• Conducting research to support accurate, informed contract drafting
• Ensuring all contracts align with relevant procurement frameworks (including Cloud 13/14 and UK Public Procurement Regulations)
• Spotting potential risks and flagging issues where needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements
• Comfortable communicating with commercial teams and constructively pushing for clarity when required
• Able to turn business conversations into solid, clear, contract-ready language
• Resilient and adaptable - you don’t get flustered easily and can juggle shifting priorities
• Familiar with Cloud 13/14 agreements, public procurement rules, and VAS contracts
• Happy to work independently with support when required
• Backgrounds in private practice, litigation, procurement, housing, or council settings are all welcome
