Crewing Coordinator

NES Fircroft is supporting a global O&G client in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, with a ROV Crewing Coordinator position.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, responsible for managing crewing assignments across all ROV worksites (local & global) and projects, in close collaboration with the ROV Personnel Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the O&G industry. Previous HR training experience and knowledge of international employment rules & regulations would be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Coordinate with Project Managers, Offshore Superintendents, and Personnel Logistics Coordinators regarding crew mobilization, selection, availability, and feedback.
  2. Ensure compliance with the UK Limited ROV Personnel Competence Scheme (CAAS).
  3. Assist Personnel Logistics Coordinators with the mobilization/demobilization of ROV crews according to project requirements.
  4. Collaborate with the Project and ROV Teams, HR, and Training/CAAS Team to verify all certificates, competencies, and training meet project standards.
  5. Develop a strong understanding of individual ROV employee strengths.
  6. Conduct regular meetings and visits to foster and enhance relationships with relevant entities.
  7. Advise management on employment issues raised by ROV employees.
  8. Support the ROV Personnel Supervisor in updating the crewing system for all worksites, including staff and agency personnel.
