Crewing Coordinator

NES Fircroft is supporting a global Oil & Gas client in Bridge of Don, Aberdeen, with a ROV Crewing Coordinator position.

This is a permanent role, working 37.5 hours per week, responsible for managing crewing assignments across all ROV worksites (locally & globally) and projects, in close collaboration with the ROV Personnel Supervisor.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry. Previous HR training and knowledge of international employment rules and regulations are advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Coordinate with Project Managers, Offshore Superintendents, and Personnel Logistics Coordinators regarding crew mobilization, selection, availability, and feedback.
  2. Ensure compliance with UK Limited ROV Personnel Competence Scheme (CAAS).
  3. Assist Personnel Logistics Coordinators with the mobilization/demobilization of ROV crews according to project requirements.
  4. Liaise with project teams, HR, and training/CAAS teams to verify all certificates, competencies, and project-specific training are completed per protocols.
  5. Develop a strong understanding of individual ROV employees' strengths.
  6. Conduct regular meetings and visits to build and maintain relationships with relevant entities.
  7. Advise management on employment issues raised by ROV employees.
  8. Support the ROV Personnel Supervisor in updating the crewing system for all worksites to assign staff and agency personnel.
