- Salary - £28,000
- Hours - 8.30 - 5pm or 9am - 5.30pm, Monday to Friday
- Location - Cressex Head Office, with home-based work 2 days per week
About the role
At Biffa, we have an exciting opportunity for someone with strong Customer Service experience who wishes to expand their skills into HR. As a HR Administrator in the Employee Services team, you will provide excellent administrative support to internal and external customers, maintaining high service standards and ensuring compliance with company procedures.
This is a high-volume department dealing with topics such as company cars, family leave, and system support. Most interactions are via email and systems, but phone support is also required.
Key responsibilities
- Be the first point of contact for internal staff, providing timely resolution of queries and guidance on company policies.
- Support and educate staff on company procedures and system usage.
- Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements, and Key Performance Indicators to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and high service levels.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of SOPs to enhance service quality.
- Manage and resolve client enquiries end-to-end within set timescales, ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate employee information in databases.
Candidate requirements
- Studying towards a CIPD qualification is desirable.
- Over 2 years of experience in HR administration or a senior Customer Service role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with employees at all levels, from operatives to directors.
