Role: Data Analyst

We are looking for a Data Analyst to help transform the way we use data across a multi-site business. The role will focus on bringing together several existing data sources into one reliable framework, designing a data warehouse, and building reports in Power BI that can be used across the organisation. We need someone who is available to start immediately.

The role

You will be responsible for consolidating multiple data sets into a single source of truth and ensuring that information is accurate, reliable and easy to access. You will design and maintain a data warehouse that integrates financial, operational and customer data. Once in place, you will set up and manage Power BI dashboards and reports that provide clear insight for decision makers. You will also work closely with senior stakeholders, understanding their requirements and ensuring they get the insight needed to drive performance.

Key responsibilities

  • Build and maintain a centralised data warehouse
  • Develop and manage Power BI reports and dashboards
  • Partner with stakeholders across finance, operations and customer teams to understand their data needs
  • Create and manage data pipelines and ETL processes
  • Apply engineering experience to design robust, scalable and efficient data solutions
  • Ensure data governance and accuracy across systems
  • Translate data into clear insight that supports business performance and customer experience

About you

  • Experience with data engineering, ETL and data warehouse design
  • Strong skills in Power BI or other business intelligence tools
  • Engineering background or practical experience in building and optimising data systems
  • Background in working with data from multi-site businesses such as hospitality, retail or leisure
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to explain complex information to non-technical colleagues
  • A problem solver who can take ownership of projects and deliver results
  • Able to start immediately
