This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving business decisions through insightful data analysis within a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Our client is a successful retailer with ambitious growth plans. They pride themselves on their customer-centric approach and are looking for a data-driven individual to help them better understand their customers, optimise their online presence, and improve overall business performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collecting, cleaning, analysing, and interpreting large datasets to provide actionable insights to various departments across the business, including marketing, sales, and operations. They will work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into data-driven solutions.

What you'll be doing...

  • Gathering and cleaning data from various sources, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
  • Performing exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies.
  • Developing and maintaining regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards using data visualisation tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
  • Conducting in-depth analysis on customer behaviour, website performance, marketing campaigns, and sales data.
  • Providing actionable insights and recommendations to stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
  • Collaborating with different teams to understand their data requirements and provide relevant analysis.
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of data collection and analysis processes.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest data analysis techniques and tools.

What we're looking for...

  • Proven experience (typically 2+ years) working as a Data Analyst, ideally within an e-commerce environment.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL and experience working with relational databases.
  • Experience with data visualisation tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or similar.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex dataand translate it into clear and concise insights.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experiencewith statistical analysis and data modelling techniques.
  • Familiarity with web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).
  • A proactive and self-motivated approach with a strong attention to detail.
  • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
