Job Title: Data Analyst

Location: Fully Remote

Timings: Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 6 PM BST

Must have a 2 to 3 hour backup, 22 to 24” monitor with HDMI cable, table, chair and a quiet place to work.

Role Responsibilities

  • Escalating faults to project team and vendors ensuring they are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Providing support to network services and dealing with network faults
  • Up to 3rd level support for faults and change requests
  • Ensuring cases are documented well
  • Involved in delivering projects and solutions
  • Deploy, improve and modify network configuration including firewalls and switches as required by business needs
  • Assist the Network Analyst, Service Ops team and Engineering teams with escalated problems
  • Identify opportunities to improve service to customers so that SLAs are exceeded and customer feedback is consistently high
  • Help colleagues within and outside the Engineering team with issues related to applications and platforms
  • Improve existing systems and capacity monitoring
  • Adhere to internal IT processes (change/incident/problem) as set out by the IT department
  • Ensure all aspects of the system are adequately documented and reviewed

Qualifications

  • Hands-on experience with VLAN tagging, DHCP, DNS, TCP, UDP, and IP services (DIA, VPN, CPE, DSL)
  • Network multi-vendor and CLI troubleshooting experience
  • Understanding of remote access and remote-control software
  • CCNA certification or equivalent is preferable
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Ability to engage at all levels internally and externally
  • Positive contribution to the team atmosphere
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Honesty, sincerity, and a strong work ethic
  • Comfortable working with UK hours
  • Basic amenities: high-speed internet, a laptop, and noise-canceling headphones
