We’re looking for a Data Architect who will design, govern, and evolve our cloud-based data platform. You’ll define how data flows across the business, ensure scalable and secure architecture, and set the technical direction for analytics and operational data systems. Your work will directly support go-to-market strategies, customer insights and product innovation.
What You’ll Do
- Design and maintain the analytical data architecture using Snowflake as our core data warehouse
- Develop scalable data models that support product analytics, operational reporting, and advanced security use cases
- Implement and manage robust ELT pipelines using dbt, ensuring data quality, consistency, and performance
- Establish and enforce data governance, access controls, and compliance best practices
- Lead performance tuning, cost optimization, and system monitoring for the data platform
- Mentor data engineers and analysts on modelling patterns, dbt practices, and warehouse optimization
- Stay ahead of industry trends in data architecture, cloud analytics, and cybersecurity data challenges
What You’ll Bring
- Expertise in Snowflake: advanced performance tuning, storage optimization, security features (e.g., RBAC, data masking)
- Strong data modelling skills: experience with dimensional modelling (Kimball/Star Schema), data vault, or hybrid approaches
- Hands-on experience with dbt: designing modular transformations, testing frameworks, and documentation
- Solid SQL skills and experience with large-scale data processing
- Familiarity with modern data stack tools (e.g., Fivetran, Tableau, etc.)
- Proven ability to design data architectures that meet stringent security, compliance, and privacy requirements
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams
- Experience in cybersecurity or other security-sensitive domains (preferred but not required)
What We Bring
Join our Data Analytics team to accelerate your career journey, working with cutting-edge technologies and contributing to projects that have real customer impact. You will be immersed in a dynamic environment that recognizes and celebrates your achievements.
Mimecast offers formal and on-the-job learning opportunities, maintains a comprehensive benefits package that helps our employees and their family members to sustain a healthy lifestyle, and importantly - working in cross functional teams to build your knowledge!

We provide you with the flexibility to live balanced, healthy lives through our hybrid working model that champions both collaborative teamwork and individual flexibility. Employees are expected to come to the office at least two days per week, because working together in person:
- Fosters a culture of collaboration, communication, performance and learning
- Drives innovation and creativity within and between teams
- Introduces employees to priorities outside of their immediate realm
- Ensures important interpersonal relationships and connections with one another and our community

This position may also be eligible for bonus, incentive plans, and other related benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
