Data Engineering Manager – HealthTech SaaS. Co-Founder & Director at Accelero - Data | Product. Are you ready to take ownership of a growing data engineering function in a fast-scaling HealthTech SaaS business?

We’re looking for a Data Engineering Manager to lead a team of 7 Data Engineers, driving the delivery of scalable, secure, and innovative data solutions on the Azure stack.

£100,000 base + up to 12% bonus. Hybrid working in Manchester HQ.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and grow a team of 7 Data Engineers.
• Own the design and optimisation of Azure-based data pipelines and platforms.
• Partner with Product, Data Science, and Engineering teams to deliver business-critical solutions.
• Embed best practices in data governance, scalability, and automation.
• Drive a culture of innovation, quality, and continuous improvement.

What we’re looking for

• Proven experience managing and scaling Data Engineering teams.
• Hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory, Synapse, Databricks, Data Lake, SQL.
• Strong grasp of modern data architectures, ETL/ELT, and cloud-first solutions.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
• SaaS or regulated sector (healthcare a plus) experience desirable.
