We are looking to recruit an experienced Data Governance Analyst to join our established team. Reporting to our Performance & Assurance Manager our Data Governance Analyst will support our data quality, security and compliance initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with data governance tasks such as data cataloguing, data lineage, data policy enforcement, data issue resolution and data reporting.
  • Collaborate with data owners, data stewards and data analysts to ensure that data is properly defined, documented and governed across the organisation.
  • Support the Data Governance Lead to deliver high quality data analysis and reporting and drive MSV\'s digital transformation project work - particularly our Stronger Business project work.
  • Provide specialist support to the Performance team in relation to data analysis and reporting, providing quality data that will influence change to the business.
  • Assist with the implementation of a staff training system and document business processes related to data governance.

What we are looking for

  • Good knowledge of data governance, data quality, data management is essential for the role.
  • Experience and understanding of KPIs and Performance Management
  • Knowledge of data governance principles, frameworks and methodologies
  • Strong communication, collaboration and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent data analysis skills with the ability to produce accurate and transparent reporting to support many projects
  • Previous experience working within the social housing sector is desirable.
