This role will be based at our Paddington office on a hybrid basis, with a general expectation of 2–3 days in the office each week.

What’s the job?

  • Work with TCS colleagues and delivery teams to ensure that all data incidents are managed successfully and resolved within agreed timescales.
  • Work with the Service and Operations Manager to identify and develop improvements and automations that deliver an enhanced customer experience.
  • Ensure that timely and accurate incident and maintenance communication is available to colleagues.
  • Support in the delivery of audits and usage reporting.
  • Work closely with the delivery and platform teams to create a forward-looking capacity plan for the data platform.
  • Work closely with our Data DevOps, TCS and delivery team colleagues to identify and deliver improvements to the technical operational support that we provide.

What you’ll bring

  • A data-driven and collaborative practitioner, with experience working in a complex global organisation.
  • Experience in a DataBricks environment, with a focus on best practice user query tuning.
  • Technical training experience, particularly in SQL.
  • Experience working in organisations with highly matrixed teams, with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience using data to identify trends, generate insights and problem solve.
  • Experience resolving issues, delivering improvement initiatives, iterating and evolving processes and ways of working.
  • The ability to work across multiple teams and drive overall success, independent of organisational boundaries.
