We have an exciting opportunity that has arisen fora Data Analyst to join our growing Team here at Holman UK for approx. 12 months in a maternity cover position. This role will be based out of our HQ in Chippenham with the opportunity for hybrid working.
The salary for this role is dependent on experience to a maximum of £35,000 pa.
As a Data Analyst, you will play an important role in d eveloping reports utilising business intelligence platforms to provide needed data to clients and internal stakeholders. This position requires a proactive individual who can learn quickly, communicate well, demonstrate accuracy, thoroughness and effectiveness to provide a premium customer service experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop reports utilising business intelligence platforms to provide needed data to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Support client meetings as needed to provide reporting subject matter expertise to answer questions as they arise. Participate as an active listener and ask questions to uncover needs, challenges and goals.
- Responsible for the accuracy and quality of all reports provided to clients.
- Responsible for the execution of all project timelines including clearly and proactively communicating any challenges or obstacles that may threaten the achievement of the stated timeline; actively collaborate and communicate with all assigned resources during the execution of an assigned project.
- Responsible for the creation of an achievable technical solution that meets the client’s needs per the provided scope of work. Additionally responsible to support the presentation of the same content as needed.
- Deliver high-quality, reporting solutions to advance the client's strategic objectives and strengthen our partnership.
- Efficiently execute on assigned projects to deliver results on-time and within scope.
- Ensure strict compliance to departmental SOP's and standards regarding all aspects of assigned projects.
What we are looking for:
- BA / BS degree is desirable but not essential
- Basic knowledge of Power BI, Tableau or other business intelligence reporting tools is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Strong proficiency in Excel preferred
- Prior experience working in a professional environment is preferred. Experience in the fleet/asset management, finance, sales, data analytics, or consulting industries desirable but not essential
- Must be able to produce reports and dashboards that present critical information in a clear and concise manner.
- Strong collaboration skills are required to effectively work in team setting with clients and stakeholders.
- Basic presentation skills are required and must be comfortable with public speaking and providing insight and details of the work performed to a variety of audiences, including executive leadership.
- Strong analytical skills for effective problem solving.
