A high profile global FTSE manufacturer are looking to recruit a Demand Planning Manager.

The main objective of the role is to lead the global demand management team and processes.

You will be working for a market leading global FTSE manufacturer, who are on a huge growth agenda.

This is one of the most visible roles in the company, interfacing weekly with senior Directors and functional leaders.

You will be managed through a Personal Development Plan (PDP), that will detail all the necessary skills and training required for the current job, together with looking at career development.

Supporting a market leading global product manufacturer who supplier a wide variety of markets, including automotive, aerospace, energy, medical, electronics and industrial.

Exposure to a wide variety of senior level stakeholders across the company.

Drive improvements across the demand management KPIs.

Build a strong working relationship with the sales team, taking back control of the demand management process.

Improve bias metric of +/- 10% to 2% world class target.

Improve forecast accuracy of 70% to 85% world class target.

Candidate Requirements

Successfully operated as a Demand Manager for 5+ years, for any large complex manufacturer.

We will also consider experienced Senior / Demand Planners, who have 5+ years experience and who are looking for career progression.

Strong MRP, IBP or S&OP experience (IBP desirable).

Demonstrable experience of using Strategical Forecasting Tools (Currently use Arkeva, happy with SAP).

Demonstrable track record of building strong relationships with Director level internal stakeholders.

Strong analytical skills and the ability to present complex information to senior stakeholders.

Must be willing get involved and embrace change, with a can-do attitude.

Demonstrable track record of achievements from previous jobs.

Some experience of managing small demand planning teams would be desirable.

Degree qualified (desirable).
