Salary: £80,000 - £90,000 + up to 45% bonus + potential sign-on bonus

Location: Central London (Hybrid - 3 days in office)

Overview

A leading Lloyd's Market insurer is looking for a Senior IT Delivery / Portfolio Manager to lead delivery for their flagship digital platform. This is a senior role within the Digital team and reports directly to the Head of Digital. You will manage a small delivery team with plans to grow headcount, and oversee delivery of product builds, platform changes, and small/complex projects.

Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end delivery of change across the platform
• Lead and grow a team of delivery professionals (PMs/BAs)
• Own vendor relationships - act as main point of contact for a key external software partner
• Manage portfolio budgets
• Work closely with the Head of Digital as their technology right-hand
• Act as the Business Application Owner
• Ensure all delivery runs in line with Agile principles

What We're Looking For

• Strong background in IT Delivery or Portfolio Management
• Experience in insurance - London Market experience highly desirable
• Proven track record of project delivery with measurable outcomes
• Hands-on line management and team leadership experience
• Strong vendor management and stakeholder communication skills
• Agile delivery experience is essential
• Technical background or experience in a software house is a plus
