Role

We are seeking a dynamic and versatile Digital Solutions Architect who blends strategic architectural thinking with a hands-on engineering mindset. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on shaping technical solutions that drive real business impact while also staying close to the code and technical problem-solving when needed.

The ideal candidate will act primarily as a Solutions Architect — collaborating with clients, consultancy teams, and internal stakeholders to design scalable, future-proof solutions across digital, data, and MarTech domains. However, this individual should also be comfortable getting hands-on in engineering scenarios, whether it’s during critical build phases, technical troubleshooting, or prototyping new concepts.

You will be a key contributor across pre-sales, discovery, solution design, and delivery phases — taking ownership of architectural artefacts and ensuring technical excellence throughout the project lifecycle. This role requires strong communication skills, a sharp understanding of modern tech stacks, and an ability to bridge business needs with technical execution.

Requirements

• Collaborate with consultancy and business development teams during pre-sales phases to understand client requirements and propose high-level technical solutions.
• Assist in creating estimations, delivery models, and proposals that align with client budgets and timelines.
• Support demonstrations and presentations with a clear focus on translating technical ideas into business value.

Solution Design & Delivery

• Translate business requirements into architectural designs and actionable technical documentation.
• Design robust, scalable, and maintainable digital solutions across web, mobile, data, and MarTech ecosystems.
• Take ownership of high-level designs, low-level designs, integration specifications, and build oversight.

Client Collaboration & Delivery Execution

• Participate in workshops and discovery sessions to capture functional and non-functional requirements.
• Engage with client-side developers and product owners to ensure alignment on technical implementation.
• Provide architectural support during the delivery lifecycle including build oversight, integration, testing, and deployment.

Engineering & Hands-On Capability

• Provide hands-on support during critical phases of delivery, including prototyping, technical troubleshooting, and code contributions when needed.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to guide implementation, unblock issues, and ensure architectural integrity is maintained throughout.
• Bridge high-level design with real-world engineering execution, bringing practical insight to technical decision-making.

Quality & Security

• Support code and solution reviews to ensure best practices in performance, security, and maintainability.
• Contribute to the creation and use of reusable components, solution templates, and documentation standards.

Libraries and Frameworks: React, Next.js, Node.js, .NET

Testing: Vitest, Playwright, Pact, K6

Infrastructure and DevOps: GitHub Actions, Azure, Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform

While familiarity with our full technology stack is desirable, it is by no means required.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in solution architecture, technical leadership, or senior engineering roles.
• Prior hands-on engineering experience is a must, with demonstrated ability to contribute to codebases and solve complex technical challenges.
• Strong understanding of modern software architectures (e.g., microservices, APIs, serverless).
• Experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Strong working knowledge of web and mobile technologies, RESTful APIs, and front-end/back-end development patterns.
• Excellent understanding of software development methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to simplify complex ideas for technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have

• Experience with platforms like Braze, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, Contentful, or Sitecore.
• Experience across technology domains including CMS, CRM, Martech platforms, data pipelines, analytics, and cloud services.
• Exposure to CDPs (e.g., Bloomreach, Segment, BlueConic, Tealium) and data integration pipelines.
• Understanding of data modelling, ETL processes, and basic analytics or BI tools like Power BI or Tableau.
• Experience in the sports, entertainment, or fan engagement domain is a strong plus.
