This high-profile role focuses on new business, delivering consulting opportunities, thought leadership, and management across capability areas with a focus on AI Governance and Trust, including regulation, ethics, risk management, controls and compliance. YOUR ROLE Our Analytics & AI (A&AI) Capability Unit houses experts in data & AI strategy, innovation, transformation and enablement, supporting clients in using advanced data, analytics and AI solutions to solve complex business problems. As a Director, you will be responsible for new business focused on clients in all sectors and selling consulting opportunities in excess of £2m per year. You will contribute to thought leadership and team management across multiple capability areas, with a focus on AI Governance and Trust. In this role you’ll help set the direction, drive the business, model Capgemini Invent’s values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior team members. Key expectations include:
Grow the AI Governance & Trust capability and develop AI regulation, ethics and compliance offers Manage performance and growth of data & AI consultants with AI Governance expertise across sectors; support career growth, L&D priorities and recruitment Build long-lasting senior client relationships and maintain a sustainable business development pipeline Inspire clients to innovate with AI safely, with proper governance and controls Help clients design AI strategies and adopt robust AI governance frameworks Sell, lead and manage large delivery programmes with data and AI at the centre Create thought leadership and propositions reflecting Capgemini Invent’s leadership in AI, data science and analytics
As part of the role you will also contribute to the business and your own growth through activities in the following areas:
Business Development – proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitches and events Internal contribution – campaigns, think-tanks, whitepapers, practice development, offering development Learning & development – training, certifications and career development
YOUR PROFILE You will already be a leader within AI Governance & Trust consulting, looking to advance to the next level. You will have experience at a similar level leading data and AI teams within a large consultancy and possess senior-level relationships across multiple client organisations. Specifically, you will bring:
Good existing relationships with senior clients focused on AI Governance & Trust Experience defining data strategies and shaping AI or data science services that deliver client vision, integrated across technology and business functions A deep understanding of trends in AI and how they impact governance & trust
You will also require:
Strong management consulting experience with proven success in AI, Data Science or Analytics and Governance, Regulation and Compliance A proven track record in new business development / account management across the full sales lifecycle; personal sales target circa £2m per annum Proven ability to succeed in a matrixed organisation and secure support from peers in selling and delivering solutions Credibility and personal impact; respected by colleagues and clients Versatility, collaborative style, empathy, confidence in content and focus on outcomes at all client levels A passion to shape, motivate and deliver AI, Data Science and Analytics work
