What will you be doing at DeepL?

We are looking for a Channel Partnerships Director, to lead the regional execution of DeepL’s Channel strategy across Europe and North America. You will own partner‑driven growth through resellers, distributors, and strategic cloud marketplaces, driving measurable pipeline and ARR contributions.

This role is instrumental in scaling DeepL’s Channel program — ensuring operational excellence, strong sales alignment, and senior‑level partner engagement across markets such as Germany, France, the UK, the US, and Canada.

Your responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for developing and executing DeepL’s regional channel plan, driving revenue through a growing ecosystem of resellers and distributors, and establishing scalable programs for long‑term growth.
  • Identify, recruit, and activate high‑impact partners across EMEA and the US, focusing on strategic players such as Bechtle, SoftwareOne, Crayon, and TD Synnex.
  • Develop and own the Regional Channel GTM Plan aligned with global partner strategy, ensuring predictable partner‑attached revenue and pipeline growth.
  • Lead business planning and QBRs with key partners to drive execution, accountability, and joint pipeline growth.
  • Work with Partner Marketing to launch co‑marketing initiatives and enable partners to successfully position DeepL’s AI productivity portfolio.
  • Drive operational excellence and automation by implementing PRM‑based partner workflows for onboarding, deal registration, and billing.
  • Collaborate closely with Sales, Partner Ops, and Finance to ensure commercial accuracy, streamlined processes, and consistent partner experience.
  • Support regional sellers and partner managers with enablement, pipeline management, and opportunity co‑selling.
  • Build trusted relationships with executive stakeholders within partner organisations to elevate DeepL’s strategic importance and GTM collaboration.
  • The Channel Partnerships Director, EMEA & US, reports to the Senior Director of Global Partnerships based in London, with close collaboration across regional sales and marketing leadership.

Qualities we look for

  • 8+ years of experience in partner or channel sales leadership within SaaS, AI, or enterprise software companies.
  • Proven success building and scaling reseller and distribution programs across EMEA and/or North America with multimillion‑euro ARR contribution.
  • Experience working with large resellers and distributors (e.g. SoftwareOne, Bechtle, ALSO, TD Synnex, Crayon).
  • Strong understanding of partner sales models, including VAR, distribution, and cloud marketplace channels.
  • Demonstrated success in executing co‑sell and co‑marketing programs with hyperscalers (AWS, Microsoft, Google).
  • Commercially sharp, with strong forecasting, negotiation, and executive relationship skills.
  • Hands‑on experience with Salesforce and partner tools such as PRM systems, Crossbeam, and Tackle.io.
  • Collaborative leadership style with the ability to influence cross‑functional teams.
  • Fluency in English and German is required, additional European languages are a plus.
