Job Description Summary

Merchant Services provides a diverse range of products and services to merchants from micro merchants to enterprise customers that want to accept payments via a mixture of channels including face to face, online and over the phone. Merchants of all sizes are increasingly demanding and expect a significant level of sophistication in how their payment needs are considered. Merchant Services has received significant investment under the Group Strategic Review demonstrating its strategic importance to the Group.

About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Director of Client Implementation, reporting to the Head of Sales Engineering, to run our client implementation team.

The Client Implementation team is part of the Sales Engineering team, responsible for supporting our largest clients with technical implementation and accreditation of our acquiring and payments solutions. You'll work closely with commercial teams and clients to understand and solve their problems, ensuring successful onboarding of large and complex clients across sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Launch Merchants: Responsible for launching merchants with accredited solutions promptly, aligning with merchant needs, and acting as a technical expert for strategic growth projects.
  2. Develop the Client Implementation Strategy: Analyze the landscape and build strategies that maximize business impact.
  3. Process Creation & Optimization: Work on creating and improving processes to enhance service delivery.
  4. Blocker Removal & Enablement: Identify and remove obstacles to improve performance.
  5. Team Leadership: Mentor and develop a high-performing team, fostering a culture of accountability and innovation.
  6. Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with sales leaders and teams to support growth initiatives.
