Overview
Director, Human Resources role at WME | William Morris Endeavor. This position will oversee HR for the EMEA region across the company. As a leader in our London office, you will drive the health and success of the business both locally and across the regions by identifying people priorities and collaborating with company leaders to develop and implement HR solutions that align with organizational and employee needs. You will serve as a trusted HR partner, providing guidance on organizational design, talent management and recruiting, compensation, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention. You will foster an inclusive, transparent workplace, champion change, and build strong cross-functional relationships.
What You’ll Do
This role will oversee HR for the EMEA region across the company. As a leader in our London office, you will drive the health and success of the business both locally and across the regions by identifying people priorities and working closely with company leaders to develop and implement HR solutions that align with both organizational and employee needs. You will be a thought leader, advisor, and challenger, influencing stakeholders and guiding business leaders on organizational design, talent management and recruiting, compensation, employee relations, performance management, employee engagement and retention. You will foster an inclusive, transparent workplace, championing change and building strong, productive cross-functional relationships. In collaboration with WME group’s HRBPs and HR COEs, you will implement programs and initiatives while helping to manage and deliver the overall HR agenda to ensure alignment with business goals, operational efficiency and a culture of excellence.
Responsibilities
- Regional HR Oversight: Oversee HR for the EMEA region, aligning with global HR strategy while addressing regional nuances and local regulatory requirements.
- Strategic HR Partnering: Collaborate with London business leaders to understand people priorities and develop HR solutions that support organizational goals and employee well-being.
- Talent Management: Advise senior leaders on workforce planning, onboarding, talent acquisition, and retention strategies; partner with Recruitment to align resourcing plans and ensure DI considerations in selection and assessment.
- Compensation & Benefits: Partner with Total Rewards COE to ensure competitive and equitable compensation structures for EMEA and APAC, aligning with business objectives.
- Employee Relations & Performance Management: Provide guidance on employee relations matters and oversee performance management to ensure a positive employee experience across regions.
- Employee Engagement & Development: Drive initiatives to enhance engagement, development, and retention; support DE&I initiatives and ensure programming is carried out with a DE&I lens.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with HRBPs, COEs, and other departments to implement global HR programs, processes, and policies.
- Change Management: Lead change initiatives, fostering innovation, adaptability, and continuous improvement within EMEA and APAC teams.
- Regional Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure compliance with local labor laws, regulations, and industry standards, minimizing risk across regions.
You Have
- Significant experience in a senior HR business partnering role on HR and business leadership teams, with ownership for HR matters across a sizeable population.
- Proven experience in a senior HR leadership role across multiple regions, including EMEA.
- Strong knowledge of regional labor laws, compensation practices, and cultural dynamics within EMEA.
- Experience in managing complex employee relations cases and resourcing strategies; excellent employee relations skills, with ability to provide feedback on sensitive issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to build relationships at all levels.
- Ability to influence and advise senior leaders, challenging assumptions and driving strategic HR initiatives.
- Experience in managing cross-functional collaboration and delivering HR initiatives to successful outcomes.
- Proficiency in HR systems;
- Proactive, results-driven approach with a passion for an inclusive, high-performance culture.
- Business acumen and a commercial mindset.
- Proactiveness in addressing issues before they arise.
Working Conditions
- Permanent Position – London (3 days per week at NOS and 1 day at the Strand)
- Working hours: 35 hours per week
- Working days: Monday – Friday
- Travel: Occasional travel required
