Job Title – Principal Electrical Design Engineer(Building Services)

Site location – South London

Responsible to Project Director

Purpose of the role – As an Associate you will be involved in multiple projects with a varied workload and the autonomy to work individually, but will also assist in planning and managing an appropriate resource to deliver projects

Client brief – Our client is a well–established leading engineering and environmental consultancy in Building Services with offices throughout the UK and around the globe.   • Reason for vacancy – Continued growth
  • Contract – Permanent
  • Salary – GBP50,000 – GBP60,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • Holidays – 26 days + Bank Holidays, rising to 31 days with loyalty days + BH

Hybrid Yes, Possible hybrid working of 3 days in the office 2 days at home

Although we re happy to consider applicants with more or less experience, you ll ideally have qualifications, experience or skills in the following areas:

  • You will have experience in using recognised design software tools such as REVIT and ideally have exposure to MagiCAD
  • Have great communication skills that can adapt both to external parties and clients but also within the team
  • Understand project needs and be able to manage the full delivery
  • You will have recognised qualifications in Electrical services design and either be working towards Chartered Status, or have an interest in doing so
  • Be able to work both autonomously and as part of a team in support to deliver projects
  • Experience of people management is desirable
  • Future flexibility will be needed for regular co–operation, travel and inter–office working
  • In house expertise for electrical enquiries
