Are you an experienced Electrical Design Engineer looking for your next challenge? Or a Senior Electrical Engineer ready to lead on exciting projects?

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop electrical building services systems
  • Produce detailed design calculations, drawings, and specifications
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated designs
  • Ensure compliance with Scottish Building Standards and regulations
  • Support and mentor junior engineers
  • Attend UK-wide site visits and client meetings
  • Lead design team meetings, including preparation of reports and feasibility studies

Qualifications

  • Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical or Building Services Engineering
  • Proven experience in electrical design within building services
  • Strong knowledge of relevant standards and regulations
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Amtech, ElectricalOM, Dialux, Relux
  • Understanding of Revit modelling within MEP design (hands-on experience is a plus)
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills

Location & Eligibility

  • This is a UK-based role. You must be able to commute to our Glasgow office at least 2 days per week and travel for UK-wide site visits and client meetings.
  • Applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK at the time of application. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide visa sponsorship for this role.
  • A full UK driving licence (or ability to travel to sites across the UK) is essential.
