Job Opportunity: Employee Relations Case Manager
Location: Birmingham or Bristol
Catalyst Partners are working with a multinational, matrix organisation to recruit an experienced Employee Relations Case Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced, collaborative environment where you’ll play a key role in shaping a positive employee experience across multiple business units and geographies.
Responsibilities
- Lead on complex ER cases including disciplinary, grievance, performance, and absence management.
- Provide expert guidance to managers and HR colleagues on ER policies, procedures, and employment law.
- Ensure consistency in ER case handling across a matrix structure.
- Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to manage risk and ensure policy alignment.
- Identify ER trends and contribute to proactive people strategies.
- Support the development of ER capability across the business through coaching and training.
- Maintain accurate and confidential case documentation in line with GDPR and internal standards.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong experience in an ER advisory or case management role, ideally within a matrix or multi-site organisation.
- In-depth knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive issues with professionalism and discretion.
- CIPD qualification (or working towards) is desirable.
