Employment Solicitor or Cilex 3+ PQE – Cambridge | High Quality Work | National Team | £60,000 - £85,000

The Role

You will be working as part of a busy and supportive Employment team, providing strategic and commercial advice to a range of clients.

The role will involve:

• Managing your own caseload of employment matters, including both contentious and non-contentious work.
• Advising employer and employee clients on all areas of employment law including disciplinary matters, redundancy, TUPE, contracts, and workplace disputes.
• Handling Employment Tribunal litigation, including preparing claims, defences, witness statements and advocacy.
• Drafting and advising on settlement agreements and contracts of employment.
• Providing client training and legal updates.
• Supporting junior team members through supervision or informal mentoring.
• Participating in marketing and business development initiatives to build your profile and the firm\'s presence.

About You

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at least 3 years’ PQE in employment law.
• Solid experience gained in a reputable employment law team or full-service commercial firm.
• Excellent technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
• Strong client service skills – able to build rapport and deliver pragmatic, solution-led advice.
• Effective communicator with excellent drafting skills and a keen eye for detail.
• Comfortable managing a caseload with minimal supervision.
• Enthusiastic team player who enjoys supporting colleagues and collaborating on complex matters.
• Excellent mentorship and support network with regular 1:1\'s and tailored development plans.
