We’re looking for an Energy Manager to join our team and support the growing demand for technical consultancy services across our client base. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on experience in energy systems and a passion for helping businesses on their path to net zero.

What you’ll do

  • Lead energy and carbon assessments for a portfolio of commercial and industrial clients
  • Use ClearVUE.Zero to provide proactive energy management and analysis
  • Conduct site surveys and energy audits to identify savings opportunities
  • Support ClearVUE installations, working with clients to determine best-fit solutions
  • Act as a virtual or part-time energy manager, delivering strategic support to clients
  • Deliver compliance-related services such as SECR and ESOS reporting
  • Provide long-term advisory support, helping clients progress from insight to action
  • Support the development of ClearVUE’s platform and IoT solutions through client feedback
  • Represent ClearVUE in client meetings, workshops, and sustainability forums

What we’re looking for

  • Degree-qualified in engineering, energy, or a related technical discipline
  • 4–10 years’ experience in energy and carbon management (consultancy or in-house)
  • Strong understanding of energy auditing and reduction methodologies (e.g. BS16247)
  • Experience with energy management systems, smart metering, and IoT tools
  • Ability to analyse data and clearly communicate recommendations to stakeholders
  • Professional, confident, and adaptable in both industrial and commercial settings
  • UK Driving Licence, and willingness to travel for site visits across the UK and Europe
  • Membership in a relevant professional body (e.g. CIBSE, Energy Institute)
  • Familiarity with BMS systems and advanced metering infrastructure
  • Voluntary or community involvement in environmental or climate-focused initiatives
  • Experience in delivering staff training or energy workshops
