Description
We’re GEEIQ (pronounced ‘Geek’), the data platform and insights provider used by the likes of Gucci, Walmart, L’Oreal and Porsche to navigate and engage virtual worlds. Think Ralph Lauren in Fortnite, or Elton John in Roblox.
We believe the metaverse hype is over. Brands demand more than visibility. They need to measure, attribute and identify tangible revenue opportunities. Our platform delivers the data, insights and expertise needed to engage valuable audiences and win in virtual worlds.
Located in Paddington, GEEIQ is a team of ~40 innovators, with ambitious growth plans over the next 24 months. We’re predominantly office-based, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation. Every idea is valued and every team member plays a pivotal role in shaping the future of digital brand experiences.
Our Team
The Engineering department is responsible for building, maintaining, and improving the GEEIQ platform, ensuring stability, performance, and scalability as we grow.
This role will be part of the Engineering team and work in close partnership with Product, Partnerships, and Client Services to ensure our technology delivers against client needs and product vision. You will support and enable the engineering team to deliver high-quality features and infrastructure, while helping to connect Product requirements with Engineering execution in a collaborative and transparent way.
Your Focus
As Engineering Manager at GEEIQ, you will be the go-to person for people management, delivery processes, and engineering operations. You will empower our developers by removing blockers, refining workflows, and ensuring visibility across teams. You’ll oversee ticketing, prioritisation, and reporting, while working with Product to scope feasibility and align delivery to roadmap goals.
This role allows our CTO to focus on technology strategy, infrastructure, and technical mentorship, while you take ownership of day-to-day management, process efficiency, and delivery confidence.
