What You Would Be Doing on a Daily Basis

• Serve as the primary technical advisor during the pre-sales cycle.
• Lead pre-sales scoping calls with clients, dissecting complex challenges, proposing tailored solutions, and crafting Statements of Work (SoW) for project implementation.
• Lead implementation projects as technical lead accountable for successful execution.
• Work with our Go-to-Market team to help co-develop repeatable solutions.
• Act as a trusted advisor to both internal teams and clients.

You will inspire confidence with our clients, guiding engagements from initial discussions to successful project execution. Your reputation as an expert within SADA and the broader GCP community will be earned through your domain knowledge and thought leadership.

Expectations

• Customer Facing: This role requires frequent interaction with clients, leading discussions on requirements, solutions, and best practices.
• Technical Expertise: You will be the go-to person for all technical-related inquiries within professional services, collaborating closely with internal teams and clients.
• Onboarding/Training: The first several weeks of onboarding are dedicated to learning and will encompass learning materials/assignments and compliance training, as well as meetings with relevant individuals. Details of the timeline are shared closer to the start date.

Job Requirements

• Required Credentials:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 3-7 years of relevant work experience in enterprise architecture and professional services with a focus on cloud environments.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing solutions in cloud-based environments, ideally in Google Cloud.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in evaluating and selecting technologies and frameworks to address specific project requirements.
  • Experience with hyperscaler technologies (GCP, Azure, AWS).
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Other Skills and Qualities:
  • Exceptional written communication: You will be crafting legally binding agreements, so the ability to write clearly, concisely, and professionally is essential. Your writing should be easy to understand for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Meticulous attention to detail: An SoW needs to be a roadmap for project success. You\'ll have a keen eye for detail, ensuring every requirement is accurately captured and leaves no room for misinterpretation.
  • Project management proficiency: Understanding the project lifecycle is crucial. You\'ll translate project goals into a defined scope of work, outlining deliverables, timelines, and milestones with a clear understanding of resource allocation.
  • Strong analytical skills: You can break down complex projects into their core components and translate them into actionable steps.
  • Professional Services pre-sales experience.
  • Familiarity with contract best practices: An SoW is a type of contract. Having a grasp of basic contract principles will ensure your SoWs are enforceable and protect all parties involved.
