Role Title: Enterprise Domain Architect

Rate: £550 p/d (Inside IR35)
Role Overview
Seeking an Enterprise Domain Architect to define and deliver the IT strategy for a key business domain (such as customer channels, finance, or operations). The role involves designing and maintaining the domain's application, data, and technology architecture to support business objectives, leading digital transformation initiatives, and ensuring alignment with the wider enterprise strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and deliver the target architecture for applications, data, and technology within the domain, ensuring scalability, performance, and reusability.
- Translate business objectives into modular, future-proof system designs aligned with enterprise standards.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives—integrating new platforms, improving efficiency, and modernising legacy systems.
- Develop and manage transition and implementation roadmaps, ensuring delivery against long-term architectural goals.
- Establish architecture principles, governance, and best practices for projects within the domain.
- Act as a bridge between business and technical teams, advising on design feasibility and communicating progress to stakeholders.
Key Skills & Experience
- Proven experience designing enterprise-level IT architectures across applications, data, and infrastructure.
- Strong strategic and business acumen—able to translate business needs into technology solutions.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Broad technical exposure across IT infrastructure, platforms, and CMS solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional teams and driving architectural direction.
- Visionary mindset with the ability to define and deliver long-term domain strategies.
