Enterprise Solutions Architect (Band 8a)

We are looking to recruit an experienced enterprise solution architect who has practical experience of creating a consistent application architecture using the process of migrating from a mainly on‑premise architecture to a cloud‑first architecture. The goal is to create a clearly focused enterprise architecture that aligns perfectly with the business’s strategy and ambitions. The organisation currently lacks architectural maturity, so the role will involve both enterprise and solutions architecture as these frameworks evolve.

In this position you will work closely with key stakeholders to understand the current (As‑Is) architecture. The architect will create a Target Architecture aligned with the business strategy to enable capacity and opportunity for achieving business objectives. You will shape the development architecture to improve productivity and align with the business needs.

As the architectural lead you will partner with external services to ensure they are aligned with business and IT strategy, integrate with in‑house developments and core business architecture, and support removal of duplication and siloed data. You will develop the architecture roadmap that is integrated with the business, data and infrastructure architectures to empower the organization to expand as planned.
