Estate Planning Solicitor – £32,000-£44,000 plus excellent benefits (Work level 6A)

About the role

We are looking for estate planning solicitors to join our technical Estate Planning team within Co-op Legal Services. We deliver an exceptional client experience and support your development with a tailored progression framework. In this role you will manage estate planning cases end to end with a client-focused approach to targets. We will source new work for you, and there will be opportunities for progression as our team continues to grow.

What you’ll do

  • Own caseload of complex estate planning cases, including wills, trusts and LPAs
  • Use our case management system to ensure information is recorded accurately
  • Engage with clients mainly by telephone and email
  • Collaborate with expert support from the team and receive administrative support at certain case levels
  • Use your legal knowledge to mentor more junior members of the team

This role would suit people who have

  • Qualified as a solicitor, chartered legal executive, CILEX, or TEP qualification with a background in estate planning
  • Knowledge of tax systems within England & Wales
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to draft documents
  • Ability to use initiative and effectively prioritise work
  • Client-focused approach with the ability to build positive relationships in a remote setting
