Join NHS Shared Business Services (NHS SBS) as an Executive Account Director and play a crucial role in shaping the future of delivery. This is your opportunity to lead strategic, executive-level relationships with our NHS client groups in the Southwest. Your success will directly impact the retention and expansion of market coverage. Joining at the planning and design stage with some of our most strategically important NHS clients in the Southwest, you'll own the P&L and drive account growth. With a proven track record in successful relationship management, you'll build on established partnerships supported by robust governance frameworks, high-level contract management, and a shared commitment to innovation and continuous improvement.

There will be a requirement to be on client premises one/twice a week.

What you will be doing

  • Be responsible for contract delivery, ensuring compliance and performance standards are met. Building and championing strong executive-level relationships with NHS clients to ensure sustained growth and contract retention
  • Developing and implementing tailored account strategies, aligning client needs with internal goals and resources
  • Monitoring and resolving any contract performance issues to deliver exceptional client satisfaction
  • Actively contributing to sales campaigns, promoting the adoption of new services and collaborating with internal stakeholders
  • Leading contract renewals, discovering opportunities to cross-sell services, and driving new revenue streams
  • This will be an individual contributor role leading engagement across a portfolio of NHS provider clients

What you will bring

  • Demonstrable experience in client partnership at a senior level, within a BPO or public sector organisation
  • Understanding of working within an NHS client environment
  • A strong background in sales, with a track record of success in driving revenue growth and managing high-value contracts
  • Ability to influence and establish relationships with partners at all levels
  • Experience handling multi-million and multiple year contracts for BPO services
  • Solid understanding of negotiation techniques and contract management standard methodologies, alongside familiarity with procurement regulation and contract law

Salary: up to £80,000 per annum (depending upon experience and development needs)
