Responsibilities
As Family Engagement Manager you will manage Pact’s visitor centre provision at HMP Ranby, manage the prison’s booking line service, family visit catering services, play sessions for children (facilitated during family visits), family‑focused interventions such as homework clubs, special visits, themed family days, and support families accessing secure video visits. You will liaise with subcontractors in the Visits Centre.
About You (Qualifications)
To be successful in this role you will have a demonstrable capacity to coordinate a broad service, experience and understanding of working with families in a challenging multi‑agency environment, ideally involving offenders and/or their families. You will have excellent organisational skills, the ability to manage a demanding workload, and contribute to the planning and development of Pact’s family work. Knowledge of safeguarding/child protection practice and excellent interpersonal communication skills are essential, along with the ability to build partnerships with a range of agencies.
