Responsibilities

  • Operational Finance: Timesheet and expense processing, support procurement activities, assist with invoice processing and resolution
  • Financial Control: Balance sheet reconciliations, maintain accurate records, budget monitoring and variance analysis, contribute to reporting monthly/quarterly cycles, year-end audit prep
  • Compliance & Improvement: ensure adherence to internal controls, identify process improvements, stakeholder support on finance queries
  • Project Accounting: Support Project Managers to assist with project performance tracking, maintain effective contract records
  • Cash Management: Maximise invoicing, drive efficient credit control

Qualifications

  • Accountancy qualification (AAT, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong transactional finance experience
  • Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, formulas)
  • An eye for detail, focused on quality and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management
  • Valid driving licence
  • Experience in project-based or engineering environments (advantageous)
