Overview

The Accountancy & Finance Division is working exclusively with an evolving manufacturing business in their search for a Finance Business Partner to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded finance professional who enjoys working closely with operational teams, influencing decision-making, and driving improvements in performance and efficiency.

Role: Finance Business Partner

Employment Type: Permanent, full time, hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Acting as a trusted business partner, delivering financial insight and strategic support to improve operational performance and cost control.
  • Monitoring and reporting on spend, providing regular analysis to management.
  • Reviewing overhead costs, offering insight and challenge against budgets and forecasts.
  • Preparing accurate budgets and forecasts, highlighting potential risks and opportunities.
  • Building strong relationships with key stakeholders across manufacturing and central functions, supporting them in managing and understanding their budgets.
  • Developing financial tools, models, and reporting processes to aid decision-making and provide clear operational insight.
  • Driving continuous improvement in financial processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.

Qualifications

  • Part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA/ACCA) – desirable but not essential with relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in management accounts and financial analysis.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or operationally focused business environment is highly beneficial.
  • Strong analytical skills, with advanced Excel knowledge.
  • Comfortable working with and influencing stakeholders at different levels, including non-finance colleagues.
