Overview

Excellent opportunity for a Qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA Commercial Finance Business Partner to join the Runcorn based European Head office of a $3Bn t/o Global Market Leading Manufacturing business, the No 1 worldwide in its field. This is a senior level, high profile role, reporting to the European FD and line manager to a team of 3 Plant Financial Controllers based in 3 European sites.

Responsibilities

• Business Partnering with sub-region & functional management teams across your 3 sites to provide financial advice and support.
• Working closely with regional supply and manufacturing leadership teams, providing insight into underlying performance and driving results accountability.
• Providing financial leadership for all manufacturing and supply chain activities.
• Maintaining a robust multi-site control environment in line with the Groups policies.
• Supporting the business planning cycles for the manufacturing plant and supply chain plans.
• Ensuring overall timely and accurate submission of the monthly reporting pack.
• Detailed Cost Per Unit analysis - partnering with manufacturing and supply to drive cost reductions and strategic planning.
• Forecasting and Budget submissions.
• Assisting with fixed costs monitoring and control including standard reports & analysis.
• Supporting headcount and labour efficiency reporting, and site metric analysis.
• Inventory analysis - driving initiatives to reduce inventory across the network.
• Ensuring that Capital requests are supported by financial models and commercial business cases in accordance with Group standards

Qualifications

Applicants must be Fully Qualified CIMA, ACA or ACCA Finance Professionals with previous experience operating at a similar level for a similar profile UK/European HO of a global manufacturer. Previous multi-site line-management experience is essential as is a good level of SAP knowledge. You will have excellent communication skills and will be a team player familiar with working in a collaborative close-knit team environment where everyone works to support one another.

Salary and benefits

Salary £90k to £105k with benefits including Bonus to 10%, 25 days hols, 7% pension, good development/progression prospects, onsite parking and hybrid working with flexitime. Due to the remit of this role, there will be very occasional European travel. Applicants must have full and indefinite eligibility to work in the UK (through being a UK citizen or having gained ILR) and must live within a sensible commute of Runcorn.
