OVERVIEW

We’re recruiting a Divisional Senior Finance Business Partner for a high-growth, PE-backed B2B services group. Reporting directly to the CFO, this newly created and influential role was designed to strengthen financial insight, drive divisional performance, and support ambitious growth across the UK.

You’ll own the numbers, provide robust forecasting and analysis, and partner with senior operational leaders to drive profitability and performance improvement across your division.

COMPANY

This organisation is a fast-scaling services business with a strong UK footprint and a clear strategy for expansion. Backed by private equity, the group currently generates around £100m in revenue and has an ambitious plan to grow tenfold over the next five years through organic development and acquisition.

The business operates with energy, pace, and ambition. You’ll be joining a leadership team that values insight, collaboration, and proactive thinking – with finance positioned at the heart of decision-making.

OPPORTUNITY

As Divisional Senior Finance Business Partner, you’ll work closely with divisional Managing Directors and operational leaders, acting as a trusted advisor to help shape strategy, challenge performance, and improve outcomes. You’ll lead the financial planning process, provide data-driven insight, and help ensure commercial decisions are based on accurate, timely, and actionable information.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Partnering with divisional leadership to drive performance and accountability
  • Leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning for your division
  • Owning divisional P&L reporting, analysis, and commentary
  • Providing commercial insight to support operational and strategic decision-making
  • Identifying opportunities to improve margins, efficiency, and profitability
  • Supporting standardisation and process improvement across reporting and forecasting
  • Acting as the key finance lead for divisional reviews and performance meetings
  • Collaborating with the CFO and Group FP&A to ensure consistency and accuracy across reporting

This is a highly visible role with real influence – ideal for someone who wants to see their work drive meaningful commercial outcomes.

PERSON

We’re looking for a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong business partnering experience and a track record of driving performance through insight and collaboration. You’ll need to be confident, commercial, and comfortable engaging with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

You will bring:

  • Proven experience in a finance business partnering or FP&A role
  • Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Hands‑on experience with budgeting, forecasting, and performance reporting
  • The ability to interpret complex data and present clear, actionable insight
  • Confidence to challenge constructively and influence senior leaders

Experience within multi‑site, service‑based, or PE‑backed businesses would be advantageous.

OFFER

This is a great opportunity to work closely with an ambitious Finance Director within a growing, PE‑backed group

  • Basic salary of £65,000 + £6,000 car allowance
  • Annual bonus and comprehensive benefits package
  • South East base with UK travel
  • Direct exposure to divisional and group leadership
  • Opportunity to influence divisional strategy and financial performance
  • Clear development pathway within a growing, PE‑backed organisation
