Job Description At Leonardo, we’re looking for graduates who want to be part of something bigger—shaping innovation, advancing technology, and enhancing global safety. Our 12‑month Graduate Programmes give you the opportunity to work on exciting and challenging projects alongside subject matter experts. On joining, you will receive a starting salary of £34,000 per annum, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus. You’ll also be eligible for a £1,000 exit bonus upon successful completion of the programme. In addition, you may be eligible for a Temporary Accommodation Allowance (TAA), subject to specific criteria. We encourage you to spend at least three days each week on site to integrate with your team and maximise your learning experience.

As a Finance Graduate, you will

  • Develop a detailed understanding of the various Finance functions across the business, through rotational placements in the specialised functional areas.
  • Contribute to the financial performance & governance of the company policies.
  • Gain professional qualifications to become a qualified accountant.

What You’ll Bring

  • A minimum of a 2:2 Bachelor’s/Integrated Master’s degree, or higher degree, such as MSc or PhD.
  • Demonstrates a positive ‘can do’ attitude and determination to support the various teams in achieving outputs.
  • A drive and passion in Finance with a desire to grow into a future leader.
  • Ability to operate in matrix organisation across the IPT with multiple priorities.
  • Personable and able to obtain updates from busy teams by required deadlines.
  • Able to operate with minimal supervision, once task allocation is provided.
  • A good understanding of Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Power‑point, Project.
  • Attention to detail to ensure an accurate record of events is captured at critical events.

Security Clearance This role is subject to pre‑employment screening in line with the UK Government’s Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS). An additional range of Personnel Security Controls referred to as National Security Vetting (NSV) may apply, this could include meeting the eligibility requirements for The Security Check (SC) or Developed Vetting (DV).
