Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Finance Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong management and leadership abilities, with a focus on financial management and accounting. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial health of the organisation, providing strategic insights, and overseeing financial services. The Finance Manager will work closely with various departments to enhance organisational performance through effective financial planning and analysis.

Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week with 2 days WFH.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring high levels of performance and professional development.
  • Oversee financial management processes, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Prepare and present accurate financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate with senior management to develop strategic plans that align with organisational goals.
  • Ensure effective cash flow management and optimise working capital.
  • Maintain robust internal controls to safeguard the organisation's assets.
  • Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.
  • Provide guidance on financial accounting practices and ensure adherence to standards.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a finance management role, preferably within a similar industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • A relevant degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; professional qualifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are advantageous.
