Job Summary

The Finance Manager will lead statutory accounting, external audit coordination, and financial representation with local tax authorities for the UK operations. This role is accountable for delivering accurate and timely financial statements, maintaining compliance with local regulations, and ensuring strong financial governance. The Finance Manager will oversee a team of 4–5 analysts and leads, fostering team development and operational excellence. The role also collaborates with business and finance stakeholders to support planning and decision-making processes.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead the preparation and submission of statutory financial statements in accordance with US / UK GAAP and corporate requirements.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors, ensuring smooth, timely, and high-quality audit execution.
  • Represent the company in engagements with UK tax authorities, managing inquiries, compliance obligations, and related filings.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls, ensuring full compliance with financial policies, legal requirements, and audit standards.
  • Manage and develop a high-performing team of 4–5 financial analysts and leads.
  • Oversee monthly and quarterly close activities related to statutory and tax reporting.
  • Contribute to financial planning, forecasting, and variance analysis in partnership with regional finance and operational leaders.
  • Identify and drive process improvements in statutory reporting, audit readiness, and systems efficiency.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree Required; Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting is Required.

Experience Requirements

  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA, or equivalent).
  • Minimum of 7 years’ experience in finance, with a strong emphasis on statutory reporting and external audit.
  • Proven track record of managing audits and representing organizations before tax authorities.
  • Experience leading teams and developing finance talent.
  • Strong knowledge of UK GAAP and local regulatory requirements; IFRS knowledge a plus.
  • Proficiency with SAP and financial reporting systems is preferred.
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
