The Accounting & Tax Finance Transformation department is looking for a motivated and ambitious Finance Transformation Project Manager to join the team within the newly established Finance Transformation Integrated Functions organization, for a position in Filton.

You'll gain hands-on experience in driving our strategic initiatives across the five pillars of transformation: Data, Digital, Process, Governance, and People.

How You Will Contribute To The Team

  • Digital Finance Transformation: You'll play a significant role in our digital evolution, helping ensure our systems are robust, secure, and deliver tangible value.
  • Assist in the management and implementation of financial data models to drive continuous improvements, always ensuring the application of our group compliance rules.
  • Frame Finance requirements and provide functional inputs, organize test phase, define migration strategy, ensure user Training and adoption
  • Design, develop, and maintain solutions on self-service platforms (eg Skywise, Qliksense...)
  • Collaborate effectively with internal customer stakeholder teams and other functions, contributing to clear communication and alignment.

Project Lifecycle Management

  • You'll contribute to and eventually lead aspects of transformation projects from initiation to successful closure.
  • Project Contribution: Contribute to managing projects or projects workpackages, supporting smooth transitions between phases, and assisting in the identification and mitigation of process requirements and risks.
  • Planning and Resource Support: Help develop project management plans, including baselines, to define, organize, and manage milestones and deliverables.
  • Support interfaces with all relevant functions and projects at both Divisional and Group levels, fostering seamless collaboration.
  • Change Management: Support the application of change management methodologies and tools to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems.

Skills:

  • Solid understanding of project management principles, including planning, scheduling, and risk identification.
  • Foundational understanding of accounting principles (IFRS/GAAP) and/or tax concepts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with an aptitude for detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Ability to learn quickly, adapt to new challenges, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
  • A proactive and growth-oriented mindset, eager to take on new responsibilities and develop expertise.

About You

Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field.

Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience in project support or management roles, with a focus on finance or accounting initiatives within a professional setting.
  • Familiarity with major financial systems (e.g., SAP ERP) or business intelligence platforms (e.g., Skywise, Qliksense) is a significant advantage.
  • Some experience with business process analysis or supporting change initiatives.
