Scope of the Role

• Delivery of monthly Group accounts, including balance sheet and cash flow.
• Ownership of the year-end process, including the external audit, all tax-related matters, and production of the statutory accounts.
• Management, mentoring, and growing of the AR, AP and management accounts teams.
• Management of month-end reporting to Board and Executive Team, overseeing the management accounts team, including detail shop and cost reporting, monthly reviews with budget holders and budget / forecast setting.
• Develop and improve systems, processes, and internal controls to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and profitability within a growing business.
• Managing the relationship with key external stakeholders: investors, banks, insurers, and other key providers.
• Being responsible for all Taxation and VAT matters.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Experienced Financial Controller or senior finance professional, ideally from a product-led or FMCG business.
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent).
• Technically strong, process-driven, and passionate about systems, automation, and efficiency.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, able to build structure and controls under pressure.
• Commercially astute with excellent Excel and modelling skills.
• Detail-oriented and collaborative, with the confidence to influence senior stakeholders.
• Confident communicator who can influence across all levels of the business.
