OverviewDue to transformative changes within an iconic FMCG multinational, we are seeking an experienced Financial Controller to join the agile and forward-thinking Finance team. The role is on a hybrid basis with 3 days a week in the office and a small amount of international travel.This role is suitable for someone with at least 8 years PQE and outstanding technical skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same. You will embrace change, find innovative solutions, and build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will be a pro-active problem-solver with a calm demeanour and excellent communication skills.What you’ll be doingMonthly reporting (IFRS) and statutory accountingTaking responsibility for the overview of regional reportsWorking with service providers such as a shared service centre to ensure processes are optimisedTaking ownership of tax compliance including VATContributing to the team with process improvements and new ideasWhat you’ll needA recognised accounting qualification (ACCA/ACA level) and strong technical skillsKnowledge of IFRS, ideally within a multinational environmentAt least 3 years of experience in a similar finance functionThis role is ideal for someone looking to take the next step forward in their career as a Finance leaderExperience in FMCG, pharmaceuticals and/or a large publicly owned or PE-backed businessExtra Points forExperience in a leadership roleExpertise with SAPWhat’s in it for you?On offer is the opportunity to join an exceptional team during a pivotal time.
