FP&A Analyst

Overview

Based in London, this role is part of the FP&A team supporting the online business across the EMEA region, as well as providing broader assistance to the wider FP&A team. The FP&A Analyst will primarily focus on budgeting, forecasting, and month-end close activities related to the online business while contributing to other deliverables within the FP&A function.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate and high-quality planning/month-end outputs for the online business to drive performance and support decision-making.
  • Complete month-end close processes for the online business, working with business partners to understand and document variances against budget/forecast.
  • Upload forecasts/plans/long-range plans (LRP), conduct analysis, and prepare presentation materials for senior management review.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners, ensuring risks and opportunities are flagged promptly to management.
  • Track performance metrics, proactively analyse business risks/opportunities, and drive operational and financial performance to meet targets.
  • Provide direct-to-consumer (DTC) reporting and fulfil other corporate deliverables as required.
  • Support ad hoc queries and analysis from the wider FP&A team.
  • Establish effective partnerships across divisional finance teams to promote teamwork, share best practices, and ensure organisational alignment.
  • Anticipate the needs of business partners and prioritise efforts to deliver results efficiently.

Experience & Qualifications

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Experience in finance/accounting; FP&A experience in a multinational or retail company is preferred.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Strong analytical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to build effective partnerships with financial and non-financial stakeholders across various levels of management; excellent communication skills are essential.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and other Microsoft applications is mandatory.
  • Familiarity with SAP or Hyperion Essbase is preferred but not required.
