Principal Recruitment Consultant Building Dev teams across the UK - MRJ Recruitment. This global tech business serves millions of users with platforms that handle billions of daily interactions. We’re hiring for a Front End Developer (React, TypeScript) to help bring cutting-edge features to life, deliver seamless user experiences, and contribute to the evolution of a platform that serves millions.

Hybrid working with 2 days a week in a Manchester office. Salary is negotiable; details available on request.

What you’ll be doing

• Building, optimising, and maintaining high-performance front-end applications using React and TypeScript.
• Collaborating with designers, product owners, and back-end engineers to deliver intuitive, responsive, and scalable user interfaces.
• Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code that meets coding standards.
• Contributing to the evolution of the company’s proprietary platform, ensuring robust, efficient, and future-proof solutions.
• Working in an agile environment where your input helps shape products and features.

What we’re looking for

• Strong commercial experience with React and TypeScript.
• Solid understanding of modern front-end practices (component-driven design, state management, testing).
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration with back-end services.
• Awareness of performance optimisation, accessibility, and responsive design principles.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
